Oh I love this song. Such an oldie, but without a doubt a goodie, if not a bestie. I love this song. If you don’t love it {or like it}, I don’t know what to tell you. Why do I like this song so much? Maybe it’s because it reminds me of the movie, which I love too. But I think it’s the feeling I get when I hear this song… it makes me want to turn to my guy, look at him {without him noticing} and just give my nod of approval that I know that there’s nothing that would stop me from being by his side through anything AND knowing he feels the same. Oh, here I go getting all deep and sentimental on you. I tell you, it’s the song.
This song… wow. As you can tell by checking out my typical “music inspiration” is kind of an outlier. Well, not kind of, but I promise I do have an eclectic taste of music. But this song truly brought a tear to my eye when I “read” the words as the stud Brad Paisley sang. I just said “awwww.” I don’t know if it’s because he totally reminds me of a good friend of mine’s boyfriend {I swear they could be twin brothers}, or if it’s because I could totally see him dedicating this song to her… whatever the reason it’s a keeper. Another tribute song to a woman who is truly & madly loved by her guy, despite all the “flaws” {which you know he can’t live without}. Love this song, and I think I am starting to heart Brad Paisley. Oh boy!

Remember this song? I remember being a sophomore in high school {I totally just dated myself, but whatever}. I loved this song back then & I love it just as much today. Truly. Madly. Deeply.

When I hear Frankie J sing this acapella. OMG! Seriously. I play the beginning part of this video over & over because I’m in such awe. Do you remember the original by Extreme? I love that version too because I remember watching the music video on MTV when they actually played nothing but music videos, versus all the reality shows.

Oh, Luther. Luther, Luther, LUTHER. He really made great music. This had to be included in my wedding song list. I can’t not add it. In fact, get ready for some Luther because he’s got plenty of love songs that need to be added the love soundtrack.
