These are holiday gift boxes… I know you’re probably tired of all the holiday inspiration, but seriously, I think you can use this inspiration for weddings… not just a winter wedding, but for amazingly stylish favor boxes.  So make it your own & find a way to use these as inspiration for your wedding/party favors.  Again, they’re from Martha Stewart.

Better late, than never, right?  Well, it's Saturday, and as much as I love posting these Weeks-In-Review {or is it Week-in-Reviews? or Weeks-in-Reviews?}, I have a lot to do this weekend, but I can't leave you hanging, so I decided to get this to-do out of the way before I get on with the rest of my weekend activities.

Monday (2/16/09) ::   Kimberly of Inspired Goodness is calling all brides for a Whose Wedding Is It Anyway? {one of my favorite shows} casting call!  What a fabulous opportunity for the bride!  Imagine being featured in the 100th episode, and having it paid for!  Mention that Inspired Goodness sent you!  InspiredBride gives us a sweet treat with some eye-candy {or eye-cake} from the Little Venice Cake Company.  They remind me of the cakes in the Alice In Wonderland movie I watched as a child.  Great find, Maddy!  I got inspired by MadeByGirl's Monday post, and it made me think about how much I love what I do!  She offers us a glimpse into Hijiri Design Studio's home + studio.  Thanks for posting, Jennifer!

Tuesday (2/17/09) ::  The HWTM is having a surprise giveaway, hosted by Estilo Weddings.  This is definitely a prize you want to snag, since this store has EVERYTHING you need to make a chic statement for your next event.  All you have to do is post a comment about what fabulous item you love from Estilo Weddings.  The deadline is midnight PST Monday, February 23!  Good luck!  I just fell in love with a new blog.  It's Portland Style Unveiled's "The Lounge".  It's filled with ideas, wedding fashion, and other goodies, like their post on getting linked to Cupcake Heaven via Cupcake Mama!  Excellent news for all you Eddie Ross fans!  He's opened up his own esty shop… wonderful!  You can have a little bit of Eddie Ross {or at least his stylish details} in your home, which is something I wouldn't mind having!

Wednesday (2/18/09) ::  I have a sweet tooth, and Annette of Swanky Tables hit the spot with her Sugar Rush post.  I always love seeing candy on display.  Candyland, anyone?

Sugarrushbar

Thursday (2/19/09) ::   I'm so digging the color Jennifer Ramos posted on Thursday.  French, Spanish, English… whatever language, this post post speaks volumes and translates into the fact that it is fun + inspiring!  I love Ms. Peep Toe's DIY project with her table numbers.  I swear, I got inspired to download the latest Michael's coupon + think up a new craft project to do this weekend.  Maddy of InspiredBride.netis a lot like me, where (1) we're not huge fans of carnations, (2) found a way to accept them in some arrangements, (3) absolutely {heart} Eddie Ross!  Sheena of TotallyTabletops has an inspiring table arrangement by Pravda Studios + Lisa Dupar Catering, that features some of her dishes.  Loving the black flutes!

Friday  (2/20/09) ::    Prepare for the Oscars and plan for a stylish Oscar-fab party with the ideas from Jennifer Sbranti.  Check out the Hotess's blog for ideas on how to make your party red-carpet and Oscar worthy.  Kimberly shares some f="http://inspiredgoodness.typepad.com/inspired_goodness/2009/02/wedding-looks-for-under-100.html" target="_blank">wedding day looks for under $100 in her Friday post, which I must say are bellisima!  I {heart} the cake topper that Ms. Stiletto snagged from Etsy's GooseGrease!  They're darling!  There is a darling find on YourWishcake's blog.  With her new sewing machine, she is "sewing" up a storm… her latest project?  The cutest eyeglass holder:

I just about freaked out two weeks ago, when I went to Target one Friday night {I swear I don't go every Friday night… it's the same Friday night I referred to in my Week In Review}, and they had bathing suits + bikinis on display already!  What the —-?  We're in January, people!  I know soCal weather is awesome, but it's ridiculous that they have an entire section on bikins already.  It was a bit shocking, but I suppose it's okay, considering it got me thinking about keeping up with my "New Year's Resolution" – which I haven't even started.  I'm pathetic.

Anyhow, although we're still in January, it's not too soon to start thinking about the big V-Day!  I love Valentine's Day… Not because of all the goodies you can get, or because of the love… It's more because of the different shades of red + pink that all of a sudden fill every store!  Everyone who knows me KNOWS that I love the color pink!

So check this out… One of my favorite people, Martha Stewart, is having a Valentine's crafting workshop.  I think it's an excellent idea.  I'm already signed up.  You can sign up too!

Workshop

Don't tell me you're not interested!  I think it's going to be so much fun!  Plus, with the economy the way it is… it's so much more chic to MAKE your presents this year, versus BUY them!  It's a 2-week online course!  Love it!  Week 1 will go over paper goodies + Week 2 will go over tasty goodies!

Here are some pictures I snagged from Martha Stewart.com.  I'm not sure if these crafts will be gone over, but I thought I'd inspire you with the possibilities!  {Heart Shaped Soap, Heart Shaped Marshmallows for your hot cocoa, + Antique Styled Valentine's cards}
