Awwww. This reminds me of roadtrips my family would take to northern California from San Diego, because my parents would always play a tape that had The Platters’ & The Stylistics’ greatest hits. Yes, that’s right, a mixed tape. I don’t know what it is about music from back then that puts me in a good mood. I think it’s the fact that it’s so soothing… it put my 7-year-old to sleep. Well, whenever I hear this song, I can always picture the “older generation” get up & slow dance to this song for sure because if it brings me back, I’m sure it brings them back… oh yeah, and the lyrics aren’t too bad either.
