I always look forward to the weekends, but boy, let me tell you how much work these Week In Reviews are! No worries, because I love knowing that people enjoy them {plus, it gives me a bigger excuse to wander around the blogging world!} I didn't think I could do it, but my hubby made me the most awesome dinner tonight, and I got rejuvenated… so, here goes… enjoy!
Monday {04.06.09} :: I'm a weirdo – because I'm a twenty-something-year-old mom who is infatuated with Edward Cullen from Twilight, so you can only imagine how thrilled I was to see this amazing Twilight-themed partyby Jennifer Sbranti of the HostessBlog. I'm so going to have one! {see some snapshots below}Aside from teenage novels, I am also a huge fan of Anna Whitford, who has a scrumptious pink + chocolate inspiration board! Oh, Anna, two of my favorite things in this world – pink + chocolate! Towels, desserts… desserts, towels! Be careful if you try to sink your teeth in these yummy looking desserts featured on LA Style Unveiled! Inspired Goodness has a great find… that would be perfect for your younger guests {or even older guests who are young at heart!} Daffodil yellow-inspired brunch on Once Wed! Not sure on how to bring the outdoors in? Call on Grey Likes Weddings for help! Swanky Tables features a gothic-inspired wedding, and I am so flattered to be mentioned as one of the blogs she digs! Tuesday {04.07.09} :: Mother's Day is around the corner, folks, so this post by the Hostess is super fabulous with 5 Great Brunch Cocktails! I'm in the mood for black + nudevia LA Style Unveiled. Wednesday {04.08.09} :: Last week, I mentioned how yellow was the new it-color right now, and the Hostess posted more yellow inspiration with a citrus orange+yellow splash! Still more yellow inspiration — or "goldenrod" as Grey Likes Weddings calls it! Love the titles she comes up with! You must check out the chic dressesthat Anna Whitford shared. I want one! I need to seriously take my working out up one notch, especially since I saw the blinged out bikinis featured on the Bridal Bar Blog. Check out the dapper bow ties that Happy Hour Bride features… bow ties are so cute! The color brown was my favorite color in the seventh grade, and it's triggered again since I saw 100 Layer Wedding's dark brown inspiration board! We Met in a Bar's post on a real wedding held in the deep end of a waterless swimming pool wins for all-time creative ceremony venue! Thursday {04.09.09} :: You must, you must, you must check out 100 Layer Cake's expeditions in a Northern California flea market… better yet, the wonderful boutenniere creations they made with their finds! Plus, my darling friend Summer {of Grey Likes Weddings} posted this killer {in a way good way} inspiration board today – - aubergine + aqua! I heart pink, so these "Barbie-themed" drinks on the Hostess blog got me all excited! Don't they look delicious? Check out the DIY bird garlandon Once Wed… reminds me of twitter! All you dog-lovers out there may want to check out thise "eco-chic" doggie bedon MadeByGirl {p.s. don't forget to use the special MBG discount}! My favorite ladies of LA Style Unveiled re-posted my white on white on white inspiration board… I'm so flattered! Thanks! Check out t="_blank">DIFFA's Dining by Design eye candyon D*LSH! As a naturally competitive person, I love games, so I enjoyed the deal 'em eye candy from Ritzy Bee! Portland Style Unveiled makes me wish I lived in Portland, just to visit this place – the Martini Vault! Speaking of martinis, check out Polka Dot Bride's cocktail celebration post on apple martinis {it also has some green inspiration to match your drink!} Another great find was on Claremont Road, where Brooke featured some darling pops… so cute you may not want to eat them though! {snapshot below} You have to stop by Lotus Haus & check out project #7 for her class! I wanna scream… they're so cute!
